What is it?
- The gateway manages communication between the execution platforms and EEX/ECC, including network infrastructure
- Trade details are mapped into the relevant fields and values required by the clearing house and sent through the appropriate messaging system
- Status updates from EEX/ECC are communicated back to the execution platforms and their users, as well as information for operational administrators
Features
- Connectivity – Centralised communication links directly into the EEX/ECC network
- Validation – Price ranges, lot size checks and conversions, correct account usage and deposit limit checker

- Optimisation – Where possible alter contract submissions to minimise fees
- Control – Feedback and alerts for problems/rejections, including hooks for third party back-office applications
- Audit Trail – Log of all actions and messages from registration through to clearing house response
